We have a salad for dinner every other day at our house and we try to switch up the dressing on occasion. This herbacious Green Goddess dressing is a nice change from the acidic and vinegar based flavors of most of our dressings.

This recipe is naturally gluten free.

Start With Yogurt

We will put the yogurt into our mini food processor. Because we are just making a small amount of our dressing we will use our mini food processor. You can mix mayonnaise with the yogurt if you would like. That can help stiffen up runny yogurt. We make our own yogurt and sometimes it is runnier than others.

Add the Herbs

Next we will add all the herbs. We want 3/4 of a cup of mixed herbs including Cilantro, Parsley, Chives, Sage, Thyme or any herbs you have on hand will work. We’ll also add 2 tablespoons of chopped Tarragon to this.

Add the Garlic

We will add three chopped garlic cloves to our mixture. You can use more garlic or less depending on what you like.

A Pinch Of Salt and Pepper

We’ll add just a pinch of salt and pepper then blitz.

Knock Down the Sides

You’ll probably have to stop and knock down the herbs that are clinging to the sides of the food processor bowl. You want everything to get chopped up well.

Blitz Until Fairly Smooth

Let this run until you have a fairly smooth green goddess dressing. You do want some small chunks of the herbs. Cover and refrigerate until you are ready to use it.
