Mango Margarita

When there is access to fresh mangos this is a great cocktail to make.

Materials

Mango Puree:

  • 1 1/2 Cups Mango pieces
  • 1/4 Cup Orange Juice.

Margarita:

  • 1 1/2 ox Mango Puree
  • 1 oz Simple Syrup
  • 1 1/2 oz Lime Juice
  • 1 1/2 oz Cointreau or Triple Sec
  • 2 oz Tequila
  • 3/4 cup Ice

Instructions

  • Make the mango puree. Put the mango pieces and orange juice in a blender and blend until smooth.
  • Add all the margarita ingredients to a cocktail shaker and shake well.
  • Pour into a pint glass with a salted rim (salted rim is optional)
  • Garnish with lime wedge or wheel.
