How To Make Tandoori Chicken Wings

We make Tandoori style chicken wings in a conventional oven. This is a great combination of Indian curry spices with a favorite football snack.

Materials

  • 1 lb Chicken Wings
  • 3/4 Cup Yogurt
  • 1 Tbls Garlic ground
  • 1 Tbls Ginger ground
  • 1 tsp Garam Masala
  • 1 tsp Fenugreek
  • 1 Tbls Chile Powder
  • 1/2 tsp Turmeric
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 1 Tbls Lemon Juice
  • Chopped Cilantro for garnish

Instructions

  • Put the chicken wings in a large mixing bowl.
  • Put the yogurt, garlic paster and ginger paste in a small mixing bowl. Add all the other ingredients except the cilantro and mix well.
  • Pour the yogurt sauce over the chicken and stir well to coat. Cover and refrigerate for at least an hour to overnight.
  • Preheat the oven to 400° with the rack in the upper third of the oven. Cover a broiling pan with foil and spray it with cooking spray. Spread the chicken out on the pan and cook for 30 minutes.
  • Turn the oven setting to broil and cook for 3 to 5 minutes more to finish the chicken.
  • lace the wings on a plate and sprinkle with chopped cilantro.
