Review – The BevMo 5 Cent Sale

The BevMo 5 Cent Sale can be a good opportunity to stock up on wine, but knowing what to look for makes a difference. We’ve explored the sale and found that some wines offer better value than others. Here’s how the promotion works, what we’ve learned about the pricing, and some of the wines we’ve enjoyed.

What we like is we can get wines that are normally $20 to $30 for basically half price. This brings the very drinkable wines into the $10 to $15 category.

How Does the BevMo 5 Cent Sale Work?

During the wine sale select bottles are clearly marked buy 1, get the second for 5 cents. It’s not obvious, but the second bottle doesn’t need to be the same wine. You can mix and match and put together a nice selection of wines at a good price. Another thing to know is that BevMo always has wines on the 5 cent sale, they just offer more selections when they advertise the sale.

Below are some of our favorite Chardonnay and Zinfandel selections from previous sales.

Also when you make purchases you are sent coupons for various other discounts that you can add to the wine sale.  $10 when you spend $75, etc.  It’s really not that difficult to take advantage and stock up as needed.
