Materials

  • 1.5 oz lime juice
  • 2 oz blanco tequila
  • 1.5 oz orange liquer-preferrably Cointreau
  • 1 oz simple syrup
  • Ice
  • Float of Grand Marnier
  • Salt rim of glass coarse salt works great

Instructions

  • Salt the rim of a pint glass (or 2 rocks glasses)
  • Add 1.5 oz lime juice to a cocktail shaker
  • Add 2 oz tequila
  • Add 1.5 oz countreau
  • Add 1 oz simple syrup
  • Add ice to shaker
  • Shake gently
  • Pour into prepared glass
  • Float Grand Marnier over the top
  • Garnish with a lime wedge
