Description

Cooked low and slow, these delicious slow cooked beef ribs smothered in caramelized barbecue sauce are fall off the bone tender. This gluten free meal is easy to make and the whole family will love it.


Ingredients

  • 1 Tbls Garlic Granules
  • 1 Tbls Onion Powder
  • 1 Tbls Cajun Seasoning
  • 2 Tbls Brown Sugar
  • 1 tsp Chile Powder
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1 tsp Paprika
  • 2 tsp Oregano
  • 3 lbs Beef Ribs (one rack cut apart)
  • 4 Tbls Oil
  • 1/2 cup Barbecue Sauce

Instructions

  1. Make the rub. In a small bowl combine the garlic granules, onion powder, cajun seasoning, brown sugar, chile powder, salt, paprika and oregano. Mix well.
  2. Coat the ribs all over with oil.
  3. Rub the spice mix all over the ribs. Put them in an oiled baking pan, cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours.
  4. Preheat the oven to 250°. Cover the pan tightly with foil to keep the steam in. Bake for four hours with the foil on. Remove the pan from the oven and remove the foil.
  5. Turn the broiler on high and move the oven rack up to the broiling position. Place the ribs meat side up in the pan and slather with barbecue sauce. Broil for 7 to 10 minutes until the sauce is well cooked but not burned.
  6. Serve right away.
