Description
Shrimp Salad with Thousand Island Dressing is a classic part of our dinner salad rotation. We use the salad shrimp, or bay shrimp, which comes pre-cooked and makes this easy. This salad is great with crab as well.

For the Dressing:
- 1/2 cup Mayonnaise
- 2 Tbls Sweet Relish
- 2 Tbls Ketchup
- 1 tsp White Vinegar
- 3 shakes Tabasco Sauce
- 1 shake of Worcestershire Sauce
- 1/4 cup Red Onion, chopped
- 1 tsp Garlic, chopped
- Pinch of Salt
For the salad:
- 1 Head Romaine or other lettuce, chopped
- 2 Tomatoes, sliced
- 2 Hard Boiled Eggs
- 2 cups Salad Shrimp
Instructions
- In a small mixing bowl combine all the dressing ingredients. Mix well.
- Cover and refrigerate for at least an hour before serving.
- Put the lettuce in salad bowls. Place the tomatoes around the top of the lettuce.
- Slice the eggs and distribute them over the salads.
- Put on the dressing.
- Add the shrimp in a pile in the center of each salad.
- Finish the salads with salt and pepper.
