Description
Meatloaf has long been a staple of the dinner table. It can be boring, it can be dry, it’s often smothered in ketchup and met with groans when presented at the dinner table. This recipe is a wonderful version of meatloaf that will have everyone begging for seconds.

- 1 lb Ground Beef
- 1 lb Hot Italian Sausage
- 3/4 cup Chopped Onion
- 1/2 cup Chopped Spinach
- 1/3 cup Gluten Free Bread Crumbs
- 1 Tbls Garlic Granules
- 1 Tbls Dried Parsley
- 1 egg
- 5 Shakes Worcestershire Sauce
- One cup Barbecue Sauce
Instructions
- Put all the ingredients except the barbecue sauce in a large mixing bowl. Using your hands mix it all together thoroughly. Separate into two equal portions.
- Line a large baking pan with foil. Shape one portion of the meat mixture into a loaf in the pan. Do the same with the other portion or you can freeze it for later use.
- Cover the meatloaf with barbecue sauce.
- Bake in a 350° oven for 50 to 60 minutes, until a thermometer inserted into the middle reads 160°.
- Slice the meatloaf into thick slices and put two slices on a plate. Add more barbecue sauce to the slices and serve.
Notes
This recipe makes two meatloaves. You can cook them at the same time or freeze the second one to cook later. You can also use it to make meatballs.
