Description
Beef bone broth is deeply flavorful stock made from beef bones and charred vegetables and cooked for 36 hours. This broth is a great base for hearty soups, pho, ramen, molé and other sauces.
Ingredients

- Enough Beef Bones to fill your pot 2/3 full.
- 1 Onion, quartered and charred.
- 2 Carrots, charred
- 2 Celery Stalks, charred
Instructions
- Put the bones, onion, carrots and celery in a large stock pot.
- Fill the pot with water.
- Bring to a boil, reduce heat and let simmer for at least 36 hours.
- Strain the broth through a colander.
- Use right away or put in containers for the freezer.
Notes
Freezing in pre-measured portions such as 1/2 cup or 1 cup makes this easy for recipes that call for these amounts.
